MBC Officials Meet with Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Members

Baltimore, MD-Three members of Japan's Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly, and a colleague from the Prefectural Government, visited Maryland March 27-30. The legislators were on a fact finding mission to support newly announced ten year plan by Governor Shigefumi Matsuzawa to restructure an existing cancer research institute. The delegation had meetings with private and public sector representatives in Annapolis, Baltimore and Montgomery County and included a visit to UMBI's Medical Biotechnology Center.
