Dr. Jennie Hunter-Cevera Gives Recognition
to Former UMBI Senate Chair


Baltimore, MD - Dr. Jennie Hunter-Cevera presents John Collins with a plaque to recognize his hard work and dedication to UMBI and the senate.

The UMBI Faculty-Staff Senate is a representative body which is intended to serve as both an advisory body to the President of UMBI and as the appropriate forum recognized by the Chancellor and Board of Regents of the University System of Maryland for the expression of the concerns and interests of the UMBI faculty, staff and students.

Celebrating our 20th anniversary year, UMBI is Maryland's premier biotechnology research institute within the University System of Maryland and was established in 1985. The University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute (UMBI) consists of five major research and education centers and is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of biotechnology.
